Returning Defective Jewelry
It is extremely unlikely that you will receive defective jewelry from Lush Crystal Jewelry. All Lush Crystal Jewelry is handmade, so no two pieces are alike. Jewelry delivered may differ slightly from pictures shown on our website. Such minor variations are not considered defects. In any case, if you still wish to have the jewelry replaced, you may contact us within the 90-day period upon receiving the shipment. Please indicate your order number and your reasons for wanting to replace the jewelry.
Return Authorization
Each return request will be assessed on a case-to-case basis. Kindly note that the delivery charges for the return to us will be borne by you. For any refunds, your money will be refunded or your credit card account will be credited for any payments you have made towards the returned purchase. The delivery charges will not be refunded. Please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.

Quality Assurance
Only Swarovski Crystals are Used
Lush Crystal Jewelry creations use only Swarovski Crystals with at least 12 facets are Used. We even use 14-facet ‘Xilion’ Swarovski rhinestones which allows more light to refract. Inferior crystal jewelry suppliers regularly offer no more than 8 facets, which results in jewelry with less brilliance.
Hand-Polishing and Electro Flash Plating
Production methods and materials are similar to those employed for precious jewelry. For instance, after casting the metal parts of the jewelry, the metal items are hand polished to ensure that the surface is free from any imperfections. They are then electro flash plated with either three to six mils of pure rhodium, or up to 10 mils of nickel-free gold plating, in accordance with international standards.
Only Pure Rhodium is Use
Pure rhodium is the same material used to plate white gold products to prevent tarnishing as well as to produce a brilliant whiteness. It is much more expensive than silver, which easily oxidises and becomes yellow and dull. Some manufacturers claim to use pure rhodium, but they actually mix in nickel and palladium in order to keep costs low. Nickel can cause skin allergies such as rash. Our jewelry is nickel-free and
complies with European standards.
Real Gold Plating to Specifications
As for our gold-plating, we can plate to specification, such as 18k, 22k or even 24k. Fully-Computerised Plating System Plus Ultrasonic Cleaning
To obtain a standardised finish of the highest quality, we use a fully-computerised plating system. To keep the plating solution pure, regular ultrasonic cleaning is carried out between each plating batch.
Strong and Superior Metal
For the metal parts of the jewelry, companies producing cheap jewelry may use tin, which has poor finish and break easily. We cast our main metal pieces out of pewter, which is still light but stronger. Small parts may also be made of brass, which is much stronger than inferior materials like tin.
Hypoallergenic Titanium
All Lush Crystal Jewelry pierced earrings are hypoallergenic through our use of titanium posts. Commonly, surgical steel is used by many other jewelry manufacturers but surgical steel contains nickel which can cause skin allergies.
Hand-Drilling of Holes for a Perfect Fit
Before the Swarovski crystals are set into place, we hand-drill holes corresponding to the size of the crystal rhinestone which will be used. This ensures a perfect fit. Inferior jewelry will have gaps between the holes and the stones, resulting in the crystals falling out over time.
